The ceremony begins at 11am at our local church St John the Baptist in Dronfield. We advise parking in the Sainsbury's car park on Wreakes Lane (S18 1NW) under the trees on the right as you enter. Cars can be left as long as you like as it is a council owned car park and the reception venue is directly accessible from this car park! The church is just a 5 minute walk down the road and you will pass the Dronfield Hall Barn where the reception will be hosted following the service at St John's.
Following the service at St John's and photographs outside the church, we will make our way back up the road to Dronfield Hall barn for around 12.30pm. There will be welcome drinks on arrival and more photograph opportunities in the beautiful gardens maintained by volunteers. There will also be lawn games and a full service bar available to purchase drinks before our meal at around 2pm.
As some of you will know, we both fill our days working in hospitality as a chef (James) and Front of House Maestro/ Tea Room Supervisor (Georgia) so we have worked closely with the team at The Cricket Inn who cater all the events for Dronfield Hall Barn. Lunch will begin with speeches and a toast upstairs in the barn before lunch is served. (Photo on the right from the last day we worked together at the Blind Bull!)
After lunch, our evening guests will join us at around 5pm to see us cut the cake and continue the party into the evening, when the dining room will be transformed into a dance floor! Street food by the chefs from the Cricket Inn will be served in the evening and weather permitting lawn games will continue outside.
We'll be wrapping up for 11pm so make sure to leave a message in the guest book, grab a goodie bag and send us your best snaps from the day!
